How do I train my staff?
Train to Gain, the government's flagship training service, supports employers to improve the skills of their workforce. Launched in August 2006, Train to Gain aims to encourage all businesses and individuals to value and realise the benefits that learning and skills can bring.
Through Train to Gain, you can access the impartial advice of a Business Link Adviser who will come and visit your business and assess its individual skills needs. Advisers then recommend the best training solutions in a range of areas and at no cost.
Advisers also take care of the time consuming tasks such as sourcing training providers and pointing out where you are eligible for government subsidies. Alternatively, eligible businesses will be able to access this support through a college or taining provider who can deliver Train to Gain.
